Life Membership

Ladies & Gentlemen who are above the age of 25 years
An applicant for Life Membership shall be a Resident of the Metropolitan City of Bangalore.
Applicants shall produce ration card, voter’s lists, and passport as proof of their residence.

Resident Membership

An applicant for Resident Membership shall be a resident of Indiranagar for not less than 5 years and shall own a site/flat/house in his name or in the name of spouse in Indiranagar for not less than three years. He shall produce evidence in the form of title deed, khata and latest tax paid receipt.
Ladies & Gentlemen who are above the age of 25 years.
A Non-Resident Associate with 5 years of membership, as and when acquires the property in his name or in the name of his spouse in Indiranagar jurisdiction is eligible to be reclassified as a Resident Member.

Resident Membership (Dependent Category)

Children of permanent Members (Life & Resident Members) above the age of 25 years.
For 1st Dependent primary applicant has to complete 5 years of membership
For 2nd Dependent primary applicant has to complete 10 years of membership
Applicants shall produce Address proof, Age proof and education proof as proof for the membership.

Institution Associateship

“A Public or Private Limited Company, a Registered Partnership firm, Nationalized Banks, State Bank of India and its subsidiaries, the Reserve Bank and Public Sector Undertakings shall be eligible for an Institution Associateship.

On admission such Institution Associates shall be eligible to nominate two Directors, Partners or Executives to use all the facilities provided by the club.
An Institution associate shall be eligible to nominate up to a maximum of six additional Directors, Partners or Executives to use all facilities provided by the club on payment of the additional admission fee.
The assoicateship of institution enrolled after 1.4.1997 shall stand automatically terminated on the expiry of 15 years from the date of enrollment or earlier in the event of any change in the status of the Institution concerned.

Long Term Temporary Associateship

Any officer of the Central/State Government in the rank of Senior Class I and above, serving within the confines of Metropolitan City of Bangalore, shall be eligible to apply for admission under this category for a period of two years from the date of admission on payment of deposit as prescribed under Rule 13(j). The associateship is renewable for one more term of similar duration at the discretion of the Managing Committee on similar terms and conditions.

Temporary Associateship

Any person residing in the metropolitan city of Bangalore who is in transferable job such as in Govt. Services, Private and Public Sector undertakings shall be eligible for admission for a period of one year

Casual Associateship

Any person who is residing or visiting Bangalore and who fulfills criteria of rule 5 under these rules can become casual associate of the Club

The period for casual associate is for three months from the date of joining.

Honorary Associateship

“The Managing Committee may from time to time offer to eminent citizens Honorary Associateship for such period as it may consider necessary without payment of admission or annual subscription fees.

Voluntary Surrender of Membership / Associateship

Any member categorised under Founder Member, Life Member, Resident Member & Non-Resident Associate may voluntarily surrender his membership / associateship in writing, duly witnessed by two resident members. The Managing Committee may accept such surrender provided:

He has a minimum of 10 years of uninterrupted membership / assocaiteship.
No dues are outstanding against such a member / assocaiteship.
No enquiry under rule 20-A is pending against such Member / Associate. A Member / Associate who surrenders his Membership / Associateship under this rule is not eligible to apply again for membership / associateship under any category nor use the club facilities as dependent parent Member / Associate.

Transfer of Membership

A member shall be eligible, subject to approval by the Managing Committee to transfer his membership to one of his sons or daughters, provided the person to whom the membership is sought to be transferred is eligible for membership.

In such cases a transfer fee of Rs.10,000/- shall be paid by the transfer.
Founder, Life, Resident Members, who have been Members of the Club for a period of not less than 10 years alone are eligible for transfer of membership. In case of Founder, Life, Resident Members, the transfer shall be to the category of Resident Members.
Any member who transfers his/her membership in favour of Son/Daughter shall not be eligible to use the club as dependent member.
A member / associate enrolled under this rule shall not be eligible to transfer such membership / associateship.
